Who I Am
Meet Babajide J. Asaju
I’m a cybersecurity and privacy expert, educator, and entrepreneur with a passion for innovation, equity, and digital transformation. Over the past decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and connected systems — helping institutions build secure infrastructures, launching tech startups, and guiding future leaders through education and mentorship.
I hold multiple advanced degrees in Information Technology, Business, Public Policy, and Christian Leadership, and I’m currently completing my Ph.D. in Information Technology at Towson University with a focus on “AI-Powered Cybersecurity Risk Policy Framework for Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) Systems”. My journey has taken me across three continents — from Nigeria, where I began my leadership and academic career, to the United States, where I’ve led security programs and built startups focused on mobility, data privacy, and public good.
Today, I work across industries — from smart transportation and healthcare to AI research and government consulting. Whether through industrial research, or classroom instruction, my goal is the same: to solve complex problems through secure, inclusive, and intelligent systems.
