Jide Asaju

Cybersecurity Researcher & Data Scientist

About Me

I am Babajide J. Asaju — a cybersecurity and privacy specialist with expertise in cyberphysical systems, connected vehicles, Internet of Medical Vehicles (IoMV), and secure consulting, my passion lies in solving real-world problems through human-centered innovation.

In addition to cybersecurity and AI research, I bring deep experience in User Experience (UX) Research — applying human-centered design to security systems, healthcare technology, and connected infrastructure.

I’ve contributed to UX studies that enhance the usability, accessibility, and adoption of secure platforms, particularly in IoMV systems, data visualization environments, and mobile-first innovations.

I also possess strong expertise in Medical Information Processing (MIP) software systems, which I’ve used in academic and healthcare security research. My work includes securing real-time patient monitoring platforms, medical databases, and connected breathing devices using MIP tools.

I aim to create systems that are not only secure and compliant, but also usable, intuitive, and inclusive — merging technical cybersecurity knowledge with UX design principles and healthcare MIP integration.

From Nigeria to the United States, my journey has taken me across continents, earning multiple advanced degrees and leading impactful projects in security, education, and digital systems.
